Re-build project

We invite you to join your story with this amazing Re-build story!  To purchase and renovate a building / property in our community will cost at least $5 million dollars.  Many friends of Toronto Alliance Church have already been giving for several years now out of a desire to participate in the vision to re-build on this historic foundation.

Why do we need your help? From the beginning, it has been a work that has been larger than our own congregation, and so we regularly need to look beyond our congregation for prayer support, for workers, and for financial assistance. Thank you for your willingness to help us establish a permanent home base for our strategic ministry in Parkdale.

What kind of a building are we looking for?

  • In Parkdale, in the southwest end of downtown Toronto

  • On or near Queen Street and on the street level

  • A large worship space

  • Space adaptable and suitable for multi-purpose use

  • With a commercial kitchen, classrooms and office space

  • We would celebrate if we also had a recreational area, storage for food bank and clothing, housing for interns, parking, and even an area for a public café!

What are Our Next Steps?

  1. Re-Building a Worshipping People - Church leadership is developing a strong congregation able to sustain growth in Parkdale. The initiative needs a strong, mature church, able to stand firm and take on greater works of service.

  2. Developing Ministries in Parkdale - We do outreach and community service in Parkdale schools, homes, rented facilities, soccer fields, parks, etc.  We lead our Sunday ministries in a rented church there. It is clear to all that we need a permanent space of our own there.

  3. Capital Campaign Promotion - Speaking in churches regarding the work and vision of the church continues, communicating with donors, and presenting to interested individuals is leading to the partnered support needed to realize this vision.Re-build Property Purchase – Giving Options:
