Christ our Savior
The heart of all we believe is that Jesus Christ came to this world to save us. If we receive Him as our Saviour, He forgives our sins, and opens the way for us to enjoy a relationship with Him, now and into eternity.
Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’ (John 14:6)
Christ our Sanctifier
Christ is the one who makes our lives what they are meant to be. We are not the product of self improvement – it is God who gives us power over temptations, addiction, and everything that rules us.
‘May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.’ (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
Christ our Healer
When we are sick, Jesus invites us to come to Him for healing. This invitation is as fresh today as it was 2000 years ago. He stands by our sickbed and we should, without hesitation, ask Him to heal our diseases.
‘…I am the Lord who heals you’. (Exodus 15:26) Christ’s healing power continues today because Jesus ‘is the same yesterday, today and forever’. (Hebrews 13:8)
Christ our Coming King
We believe Christ is coming again to earth. We don’t know when He will come – nobody does. This gives us hope amidst all the troubles and sorrows of life. This also gives us motivation to tell others about Him and invite them to believe in Him. He is the One who closes history.
‘This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.’ (Matthew 24:14)
